Crooked spine
Schoolbags cause constant asymmetric weight distribution. As a result severe hip, knee and ankle joint problems can develop.

Hunched back
It is 95% of the time a result of incorrect posture, from underdeveloped back muscles.

Frequent lower back pain
From the extended times spent sitting the lower back muscles atrophy and thus no longer able to support the vertebrae. The pain results in further deformities and can lead to disc hernia.

Change in balance
Spinal changes alter the structure of the abdominal cavity to compensate for the shift in balance. All together the weight distribution of the body changes.

Concaved chest and shoulders shifted forward
Result in decreased lung capacity, less oxygen will get to the blood. Less oxygen results in decreased capacity to concentrate with fatigue even by the beginning of the day.

Forward shifted hip
It hinders the blood supply of the lower abdominal organs.

Bad digestion
Digestion is limited by the compression of the gastrointestinal tract, its time increases and effectiveness severely decreases.

Weakened leg muscles
Those with bad upper body posture can't rest their legs either. The constant pressure on the knee over extends the joints and takes work away from the muscles of the thigh and buttocks resulting in their lessening strength.

Decreasing fitness
Also a common result of incorrect posture since weak muscles already get less oxygen further weakening them. The child becomes tired easily.

Physical passivity
As a result of pain the need for exercise disappears. The cardiovascular system will not operate properly, will accustom to the passive state. As a result upon exertion fainting, palpitations and (in adulthood) heart attacks could present.
